Challenge:

Design a multi-page publication centered on the work of Karl Blossfeldt using the provided images and text. The challenge was to organize complex content into a cohesive editorial system that clearly communicates hierarchy while balancing typography and imagery.

Approach:

I developed a structured grid system to guide layout, hierarchy, and pacing throughout the publication. By combining strong typographic contrast with carefully placed imagery, I created a rhythm between text and image that highlights Blossfeldt’s botanical forms while supporting a clear and engaging reading experience.
